MaD PanTs On Fire!!

IT’s OFFICIAL

After a sudden and fortuitous call from Ron Henry (President of Black Rapid and owner of Mad Pants), Brad Laina (me) will be moving to Seattle to join the team and design MaD PanTs Studios!

We plan to develop Mad Pants Studios into a full audio/ video production facility, welcoming all facets of recording, editing, mixing, mastering, and film post-production. We can’t wait to get things rolling. Pictures of studio progress and details coming soon!

Mad Pants has just finished production on a new music video for Sebastian & Normandie’s new album “Music For Smart People” Directed by Brad Anthony Laina “Look What You Did” “It was a grueling 18 hour shoot at a remote ranch trailer home somewhere in Topanga Canyon. We got lost twice on the way up, almost slid off a mountain, and one of our crew had to turn back after being chased by wild animals…for real. We had a great cinematographer (Jesse James Smith), pro lightning via Michael Schlaugh and Randy Rodgers (HBO), and nothing but raisins to eat…the whole day.” Set for a mid-October / Halloween release. We’ll post a link when it’s up. Keep an eye out for this one!

Hello all, and welcome to the newly formed MaD PanTs! Productions blog.

MaD PanTs! is a Seattle based film production company spearheaded by photographer and super genius Ron Henry.

With offices based in Long Beach, Brad Anthony Laina has now joined the team as Producer, Editor, and Composer for MaD PanTs!

Above is a recent trailer for an upcoming documentary in production, “Empty Orchestra”

Empty Orchestra follows the events in the lives of several Karaoke enthusiasts during the course of one night. Things get strange. Things get tense. Things get sung.
